Sounds familiar? What do you do when your child refuse to take responsibility for tasks that are entrusted to him? What do you do when your child does not follow the rules? What do you do when your child tell lies? What do you do when your child got into a fight? How do you encourage your child to think before acting? How do you encourage teamwork? As parents of two children, Ryan (aged 6) and Claris (aged 4), these are the challenges that we face frequently and we have spent a lot of time searching for interesting books and materials on character education for young children. We needed resources that are able to engage our children, teach them values such as honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, friendship, perseverance, respect, responsibility, cooperation, generosity, self-discipline, self-control, acceptance, compassion etc. |

Hello, SGParents might have notice some visible changes to the website. Firstly, the website have a new web design - Spring. Also, we will be adding a chat function shortly. Separate announcement on this feature shortly. As for forums, this has been upgraded as well. There are lots of new features. Able to send to multiple user in a single PM, print topics, etc. Just mentioning these 2 additions should make most users happy. Note that you will have to re-select your avatar if this goes missing after the upgrade. Let us know if you see anything amiss. |

Time flies. Claris is 3 years old now! We have been doing the Glenn Doman reading program for close to three years. Throughout these three years of learning journey, it has been interesting and fulfilling for both of us. We have received private emails from curious parents who are eager to find out how the Glenn Doman programs have benefited our girl and how she is currently progressing. Well, we have not really done a comparison on how well she is progressing as compared with her peers. However, the joy and time spent together while doing the Glenn Doman programs is priceless.
